  • 12/5/06 - Development finished on our second family of longwave QWIP detectors. FPAs and sensor engines imaging in the 10-11µm spectral range are now available in addition to the standard 8-9 µm.
  • 4/17/06 - SPIE Defense and Security Symposium 2006 - Demonstrated a 2-color lab camera system built around the Eagle 256 MW-LW QWIP focal plane array. Demonstrated a 640x512 LW QWIP sensor engine. Presented the two following papers:
  • - Two-color quantum well infrared photodetector focal plane arrays

    - Multi-color IR sensors based on QWIP technology for security and surveillance applications

  • 2/1/06 - QmagiQ expands its product offerings to include QWIP sensor engines and camera systems, including the world's first commercial MW-LW, dual-band QWIP camera system.

  • 11/12/05 - Development finished on our latest standard FPA, the Black Hawk 512, which features a 640x512 (20µm pitch) QWIP array on the ISC0402 ROIC, imaging in the 8 - 9 µm longwave infrared spectral band.
  • 3/28/05 - SPIE Defense and Security Symposium 2005 - Demonstrated a prototype of world's first commercial MW-LW 2-color QWIP focal plane array and a long-range (F/4) surveillance camera built around a Falcon 256 FPA.

  • 4/12/04 - SPIE Defense and Security Symposium 2004 - Beginning of annual exhibition booth presence. Demonstrated a hand-held military camera based on the Falcon 256.
